Blogging diligence...

So, as I look back on the last year... and it has been about that long since I last posted... I am reminded how far my life has come and changed over that year. I got my first job, bought my first house, had my first client hire me, etc., etc.,... So much to be thankful for. As Travis and I start another year together I am reminded of what a great guy he is and how thankful I am to have him in my life. In a few short months he will deploy again overseas and I am thinking that blogging might just be a great way to keep track of all of life's happenings in the year while he is gone...
Therefore, I am starting tonight and am hoping to better and keeping tabs on what in happening throughout the next year and the years to follow... That way when we are old and gray and memories failing, will have these to remember all the years and work that got us to that point.

We are MOVING!!!! Oh... and I got a JOB!!!!

Well, it is official... I have accepted a position with a law firm in Manhattan, KS, so we will be packing up our house once again! Not sure I am overly excited about moving our house again in less than a year, but hopefully now, we will be buying and not moving again for a while! For those of your curious, I will be working for Addair and Thurston, doing criminal defense work!

Update

Well, I guess I finally have a new update! I PASSED THE MISSOURI BAR!!! and was sworn in as a Missouri Attorney on September 17th, 2009. I am really excited, however, still unemployed! Hopefully that won't bet the case for long! Additionally, I have decided to take the Kansas Bar to make myself more marketable... so starting here in a couple weeks I will begin to disappear into another 2 months of bar prep time! I guess I don't have much else going on, I hope to one day have important things to update everyone on!

Getting Started

Well, since a large number of our friends have blogs and they are so easy to check and see what is going on, I thought we would join in! Most of you know that we recently moved to Kansas City after spending three years in Indiana. We are very excited and slowly but surely getting settled in. Well, this is all I have time for right now, but I hope to update this at least monthly to let everyone know what is going on with us!
